License for 25 or More Thin Clients

Check the number of currently created thin clients

Receive a warning when the count reaches 25 or more thin clients.

When the number of thin clients reaches 25, obtain a usage license.

Enter a valid license to avoid warnings in the openthinclient Manager and on all thin clients.

Adding a license when using 25 or more thin clients

For 25 or more thin clients, order the appropriate number of licenses from openthinclient GmbH.

The openthinclient Management Server attempts automatic retrieval twice a day. To enable this, allow the following URLs through the firewall:

http://license.openthinclient.com
http://statistics.openthinclient.com

To retrieve the license before the next automatic run, click Basic Settings → License → Renew License in the openthinclient Management.

The contract information displays the number of activated user licenses and their validity period.

To view the details, click on the menu item Basic Settings → License → Details.

Enter the customer for whom the usage rights are registered. Typically, it's the company name.

Email it[at]muster[dot]de

This is the associated email address for correspondence regarding the user license.

Notifications and information about updates will be sent to this email address.

ThinClients 74 / 75

The first number shows the number of currently created thin clients.

The second number shows the maximum number of thin clients allowed by the license.

Server ID

The unique server ID of the installation.

Provide this Server ID when ordering a license for the first time.

Valid until Monday, December 28, 2022

This date should always be in the future and indicates the validity period, i.e., how long the license can still be used.

This date indicates when the license was created by openthinclient.

Manual entry

If the openthinclient Management Server has limited network connectivity, enter the license as a license key manually.

Log in to support.openthinclient.com with the account. Open "My Requests" in the top right corner Search for the "Server Registration" ticket Open the ticket with the server ID. Copy the authorization key
In the openthinclient Management Server, click Basic Settings > License > Enter Authorization Key Paste the authorization key into the text field
