TranslationThe pending.Browser package includes Chromium. Use the package to configure browser settings.

Configuration

Below, review the configuration options for the Browser application.

General Settings

Reset settings at startup

The browser settings are reset to the values configured in the openthinclient Manager. Cookies, history, and user-defined settings are cleared.

Automatic proxy detection:

Proxy settings are automatically detected via WPAD (Web Proxy Autodiscovery Protocol).

The WPAD implementation in Chromium supports DNS but not DHCP.

Under the Manual Settings menu item, enter your data in the Server and Port fields.

Install browser certificates

To install additional certificates in the browser, place them in the following folder:

<Manager-Home>/nfs/root/custom/browser-ssl-certs

The browser imports the certificates at startup. Note, it treats all certificates as root CA certificates.
