If the command executes successfully, it'll replace all other settings.
Note, the system applies the remaining settings if an error occurs; it'll display no error message.

VGA-to-DVI adapters often transmit limited EDID information.
In this case, set the frequency required by the display [Hz] here.

For missing resolutions, use of more than two screens, or more complex settings, use the "Custom xrandr command (takes precedence)" setting — detailed information is available in the article "Advanced Screen Settings.."
