Location

TranslationThe pending..Location setting allows configuring the language and system time for the respective ThinClient areas. When importing users from Active Directory, configure and control these settings on a per-location basis.

NTP server
Hostname or IP

Enter a time server to set the time on the ThinClient operating system. It's also possible to specify the NTP server as part of the DHCP response.

Ensure the thin client can access the NTP server. 0.europe.pool.ntp.org If the ThinClient has Internet access, use this method; otherwise, specify an internal NTP server.

If the thin client lacks an NTP server or the server's unreachable, the system uses BIOS time, which may drift if the motherboard's BIOS battery fails.

Active Directory Connection (only necessary for specific use cases)

Location-specific adjustments for the Active Directory connection. The basic configuration should be set in the default settings. Override individual values here. Fields without explicit settings inherit their effective values from the default settings.
