Perform an Update
Preparation
Although extensive testing has occurred across multiple environments, it's still advisable to prepare for a smooth installation. Back up the data or, at a minimum, capture a server snapshot.
TranslationStay pending..informed about known issues during the update process and, if necessary, follow the recommended steps to prevent problems. Read the update notes.
Review the changes in the openthinclient software and ensure it meets requirements. Read the release notes for all versions newer than the currently installed version.
The management server restarts during the update, so plan for brief thin-client downtime. Existing VDI sessions typically continue without issues, but users should expect a short interruption. Notify affected end users.
