Headsets

The openthinclient OS supports all headsets with a 3.5 mm jack. Use a wired headset for optimal performance.

    ⚠️ Note that headsets with jack plugs come in different designs:

      3.5 mm 3-pin, stereo audio and mono microphone 3.5 mm 4-pin, stereo audio and mono microphone 3.5 mm 5-pin, stereo audio and stereo microphone (primarily used for headphones with integrated digital noise cancellation)

      Depending on the ThinClient model in use, obtain a suitable 3-to-4-pin or 4-to-3-pin adapter.

      The inputs and outputs are labeled according to the PC99 specification, although the colors may vary in tone and saturation.
