Evidian Authentication Manager
Evidian is an RFID smart card-based authentication system. Instead of entering a username and password, place the card on a corresponding reader — this then triggers, for example, an automatic Windows/AD login. This approach enhances security and convenience.
With Evidian Authentication Manager, configure the system to launch a preset application automatically; supported applications include:
- Citrix Receiver
- FreeRDP

Enable tapping mode. To log in, place the RFID card briefly on the reader. To log out, place the card briefly on the reader again. |
| Tapping Delay |
Numeric |
As an alternative to the previous option, activate Tapping Mode for only a short time. If the RFID card's removed from the card reader within the set delay, Tapping Mode stays active for the session. If the card stays in place longer, the system behaves as if Tapping Mode isn't activated, and removing the card terminates the session. To use the tapping delay, turn off tapping mode. |
