VNC Viewer

The VNC Viewer application allows access to other VNC servers from the thin client.

Autostart	Yes No	Whether the application should start automatically after the thin client boots up.
Hide icon	Yes Hide on desktop Disable	Yes: Hide the application icon. Hide on desktop: Remove the icon from the desktop; it'll appear only in the menu and Run dialog. Show the application icon. Show the application icon
Custom icon	File name	Icon for the application Save the icon on the openthinclient server in the folder: `<Manager-Home>/nfs/root/custom/icons` The file format is `.png` or `.ico` . Use a size of 32 × 32 or 64 × 64.
After closing the application,	Leave settings unchanged. Restart the application. Log out the user Restart the thin client Shut down the thin client Shut down ThinClient with a cancel dialog	Configure behavior after closing the application.

Setting	Value	Explanation
Destination address (IP or hostname)	Address of the VNC server
Port	Port of the VNC server	Default: `5900`
Password	VNC server password	If a password file is specified, the system ignores the password field. If both password and password file are omitted, the system opens a dialog to enter the password when the VNC server requests one.
Password file	Specify the file name or full path.	Password file for the VNC Viewer. Use this file to store the password in a less readable form. Create a password file by using the tigervncpasswd (see Create password file ) Store the password file in the Cusom folder within the directory`<Manager-Home>/nfs/root/custom/vnc-viewer-passwd`Alternatively, specify a full path on the ThinClient.
